Do you offer a bracelet?

We are sometimes asked why AngelSense doesn’t offer a bracelet.

When designing AngelSense, our main focus was on the safety of special needs children, particularly those with autism who are prone to run, wander, elope, and hide. We offer Wearing Options that are designed to ensure they will be worn by those with sensory sensitivity and that they cannot be removed.

Bracelets, watches, and necklaces do not meet the safety and sensitivity standards that AngelSense wishes to meet.

We continually look for and test wearing options and devices to be able to offer the best GPS tracker that can support our unique lifesaving safety features. AngelSense is still a relatively small device (smaller than a credit card), but it is big enough to allow us to be the safest GPS tracking device for special needs, and that’s what we really care about.

From the AngelSense Blog:

Why Your Child with Autism Needs a BIGGER GPS Device

Proactive alerts to routine deviations and providing consistent location updates in poor GPS and cellular conditions are indispensable features. Supporting these capabilities require enough power to sustain the device and can only be achieved with larger battery size and an equally accommodating device.
